Raymond D. Trigg graduated from Rutgers College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice.  Trigg received his Master of Arts in Human Resource Development and Training in June 2008 from Seton Hall University, and his Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy in June 2011 also from Seton Hall University.  While attending Rutgers University Trigg learned how important an education was and how to succeed through the help of the E.O.F. program.  

Trigg has been an adjunct professor for the past six years at Middlesex County Community College.  He has taught numerous law enforcement classes.  Trigg is currently a Police Sergeant in the New Brunswick Police Department.  During his 21 years as a police officer, he has been assigned to numerous units within the department.  Trigg is currently the Commander of the Community Outreach Unit, where he supervises The Traffic Safety Enforcement Unit, the Domestic Violence Unit, The Animal Control Unit, The Crime Prevention Unit, The D.A.R.E. Unit (Drug Abuse Resistance and Education), and the G.R.E.A.T. Unit (Gang Resistance Education and Training).  Trigg has reached over 15,000 kids with the message of being drug free and gang free.  During his career he has also implemented many programs, such as the Junior Officer Program, Kids Against Graffiti, Cry Up Program, GREAT Summer Program, and an ad campaign promoting Gang Awareness—state model (www.njgangfree.org).
